The Chronology of Positive Offers of Help in Thomas' words.
"The spirit I see my peers put into their work daily deserves someone excellent to follow."- Thomas Padlan-Malm
WWJD
While the search to replace the 74th Postmaster General was being conducted, the most tremendous transformational-minded business success of the 20th Century passed.
Padlan-Malm wrote to the Wall Street Journal about the kind of leader most suitable for the challenges at hand with America's mail delivery. It was not published.
So, the same letter was sent to the lawmakers elected to the Senate to take care of America's critical business. Padlan-Malm told them "The spirit I see my peers put into their work daily deserves someone excellent to follow."
Padlan-Malm asked America to look for someone who would ask, "What would Jack do?" citing the late Mr. Jack Welch as the perfect kind of mind for what mail delivery needed.
Advised by Legal Counsel
Before distributing his ideas between 2020 and 2023, every word was first read by the Legal Department at L'Enfant Plaza. His intentions were to help, not broadside, disrupt, damage, or disparage the work of Postal Service leadership. None leading had the experience in strategic planning and consumer marketing most appropriate.
Because the leaders we disagreed with Padlan-Malm, he shares his vision with the citizen-owners and stakeholders of America's mail. He calls postal workers, stakeholders, and the citizen-owners to a more informed campaign that respects the art of successful planning and a vision for where the where government most appropriately belongs.
